Camp Brombal Mission Statement:

 To honour the unique multicultural diversity within our community and provide boys and girls between the ages of 10-12 years old who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend a summer camp.

ABOUT THE CAMP:

Camp Brombal demonstrates how barriers between police and youth are broken down, allowing positive intercation and friendships to develop.

Students are selected from the Values, Influence and Peers Program - Officers and Teachers
The youth that are selected are underprivileged youth (financially, family issues, negative contact with Police)
Second week in July-Camp Cederwin Essex/Kingsville
Partnership- St Clair College cooks all meals for camp
Police Community Events
Wheels on Wyandotte in September
Camp Brombal Hot Dog Day – Ted Farron 
Over 600 Kids have attended since 2002-   20 Girls & 20 Boys selected each year
All participating youth receive a free bicycle and helmet at the end of Camp

 

The Windsor Police Service is thankful for all ongoing support in the name of Camp Brombal. For years it has changed lives and built bridges.
