The goal of the Windsor Police Community Service branch is to raise
community awareness of policing issues to gain greater community support
and involvement.  Community Services also assists the Community Policing
Advisory Committee with local policing initiatives, and provide problem
oriented policing support to the Malden, Ojibway, Sandwich and
University of Windsor neighbourhoods.

The Community Services branch is also responsible for managing special
events including planning, liaison with sponsoring groups, arranging
sufficient resources (particularly Auxiliary Patrol Service) and assigning
specific duties.
