1921 - 1978

The photo on the left is a diagram of the Windsor police department as it stood in 1921, the photo on the right was taken on June 8, 2005 during the demolition of the police station that stands across from City Hall on City Hall Square and Park St.

It is believed that the original police station was added on to 3 - 4 times from 1921 to 1978.  Buildings were constructed over top of the original 1921 building as displayed in the photo above.

   

   

Layers of newer buildings are peeled off of the 1921 building.
