| POLICE SEEK ROBBERY SUSPECT | ||

The Windsor Police Service is investigating a robbery which occurred on the city's near west side. Officers attended the 600 block of Wyandotte St West at 10:00 a.m. on Friday July 31, 2009 and spoke to the victim. The victim advised that he was operating a convenience store on Thursday July 30, 2009 and closed the store at 9:00 p.m. After locking the door, the victim walked to his car located in the parking lot in front of the store. Upon reaching his vehicle, he was approached by a man who pulled a black or grey handgun out of his waistband, pointed it at the victim and demanded the victim's money. The victim pulled $5.00 out of his pocket and threw it on the ground telling the suspect that was "all he had". The suspect yelled "thats all you got" and fled east bound through the parking lot on foot. The suspect left the $5.00 on the ground. The victim was shaken up but was not injured. The suspect is described as a male, black, light skinned, 19-24 years, 5'10", 170 lbs, short hair, clean shaven, wearing a white baggy T-shirt, black baggy 3/4 length shorts and black running shoes. - 30 -
