| POLICE SEARCH FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT | ||

The Windsor Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect after a pharmacy located in the 1700 block of Wyandotte St. East was robbed on Sunday July 26, 2009. At 2:00 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the alarm at the pharmacy and were advised that a lone suspect had entered the store, presented a note to the pharmacist indicating that he had a weapon and demanded the prescription narcotic Oxycontin. The victim complied with the suspect's demand and handed over a quantity of the narcotic. The victim did not see a weapon and was not injured during the robbery. The suspect exited the store and fled the area on a dark coloured mountain bike west bound in the alley behind the store toward Moy Ave. The suspect was captured on video walking in the area. The suspect is described as a male, white, approximately 30 years old, 6'2", slim build with facial stubble. He was wearing beige latex gloves, a dark blue hooded sweat shirt, baggy jeans and running shoes. He also wore dark sunglasses and a white bandana with a grey pattern covering his face. - 30 -
