| TIRES SLASHED - POLICE INVESTIGATING | ||

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after receiving a report of damage to vehicles on the city's near east side. Uniformed officers were called to the 600 block of Giles Blvd. East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 17, 2009. Officers observed that 19 vehicles parked along the north curb of Giles Blvd. between Howard Ave. and Parent Ave. all had flat front passenger side tires. Closer inspection of this damage indicated that all the tires had been slashed. It was determined that the damage had occurred sometime during the early morning hours on Saturday. No suspects have been identified at the time of this release.
