PUPPY STOLEN DURING BREAK AND ENTER

 


The Windsor Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a puppy that was stolen during a break and enter to a residence in the city's east side on Tuesday night. at 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, uniformed patrol officers responded to a home in the 1300 block of Bernard Rd. in the City of Windsor for a report of a break and enter. Upon arrival, officers were advised by the home owner that she had been away from the home for approximately three hours during the evening and upon returning to the house at 8:30 p.m. she discovered that the house had been entered and that her five month old puppy was missing from its cage. A canvass of the complainant's neighbours proved to be negative.

Police are asking that anyone with any information regarding the missing puppy or anyone who may have seen the dog to contact Windsor Police Investigations at 519-255-6700 ext 4830 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS(8477). The owner of the puppy is also offering a $1000 reward for its return. Tipsters may also contact the owner directly at 519-551-0354 or 519-551-8468.

The puppy is described as being a five month old English Bull Dog breed. It weighs 35 lbs. and is approximately knee height. The dog has a white face, beige body and was wearing a diamond studded black collar. The puppy's name is "Roxy".
