ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED IN LAWYER'S VEHICLE

Windsor Police have one of the suspects wanted in a home invasion robbery in custody after he was arrested in his lawyer's vehicle.  Plainclothes officers received information that one of the suspects identified as Randy THEORET was at a residence located in the 1500 block of Elsmere Ave.  At 8:00 p.m. last night, officers conducting surveillance on this residence observed a silver Honda Element pull up in front of the home and watched as the male driver exited the vehicle and entered the house.  Several minutes later, the driver exited the home with a second man from the residence who was identified by officers as the suspect Randy THEORET. THEORET got into the passenger side of the vehicle before the Honda drove away from this location.

At 8:15 p.m. uniformed officers stopped this vehicle in the 1000 block of Howard Ave.  Officers approached the vehicle and arrested THEORET as he sat in the front passenger seat.  Officers identified the driver of the vehicle as THEORET's lawyer.  THEORET was transported to WPS Headquarters where he remains in custody. He will appear in court today to answer to charges including Break and Enter, Robbery, Assault With A Weapon and Uttering Threats to Cause Death.

A second suspect, Jayson THEORET is still outstanding and is wanted on the same charges at this time.
