| POLICE SEEKING FEMALE SUSPECT IN TWO ROBBERIES | ||

Windsor Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a female suspect responsible for two separate overnight robberies. At 3:30 a.m. this morning, a female suspect entered a convenience store in the 3800 block of Walker Rd., approached the store clerk and demanded the money from the cash register. The suspect brandished a long butcher knife. The clerk handed over a small quantity of cash and the suspect fled on foot westbound on Ledyard St. Thirty minutes later at 4:00 a.m., a female suspect matching the same description brandishing the same type of knife, walked into another convenience store in the 2700 block of Howard Ave also demanding money. On this occasion, the clerk refused to give her any money. The suspect then turned from the counter, grabbed a bottle of Pop from a counter and left the store northbound on foot in the parking lot. Images of the suspect were caught on a surveillance camera video from the Walker Rd. robbery. Copies of this video are available to the media for pickup at the front kiosk at Windsor Police Headquarters. Anyone with any information regarding the suspect involved in these robberies is asked to call Windsor Police Investigations at 519-255-6700 ext 4830 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS (8477). The suspect is described as a white female, very dirty in appearance, 20-30 years 5'2", 150 lbs, wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, a scarf covering her face, red pajama pants and black gloves. - 30 -
