| SUSPECT ARRESTED IN SEXUAL ASSAULT | ||
Windsor Police have arrested and charged a 14 year old young person as a result of a sexual assault which took place last Saturday June 12, 2010. At 10:15 a.m. last Saturday a 43 year old woman was grabbed by the suspect while waiting for a bus at University Ave at Randolph St. A media release was issued on Monday June 14 including convenience store surveillance photos of the suspect. These photos were posted on media websites and as a result, the Windsor Police Service received numerous anonymous calls positively identifying the suspect. A 14 year old male was arrested and charged with sexual assault on Wednesday June 16, 2010. He has been released and will appear in court at a future date to answer to the charge. - 30 - |
