| GRAFFITI RESULTS IN CHARGES | ||

Windsor Police have charged four three men and one young person with Mischief after they were caught painting a wall at a factory in the city's east end yesterday afternoon. At 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 2010, Windsor Police received a report from security guards at the Nemak Plant located at 6500 Cantelon Dr. that a number of men had scaled a fence bordering the west edge of the property and were rolling paint on a wall of the building. Uniformed officers attended the scene in company with Nemak security officers and located four men actively applying paint on a wall of the building measuring 60 x 30 feet in dimension. Officers seized a number of cans of alkyd paint along with rollers and extension poles. They also seized 16 cans of spray paint and two digital cameras. The three adults and the young person were all arrested and released at the scene. All four have been charged with one count of Mischief Under $5000. They will appear in court on May 21, 2010 to answer to the charges. The following have been charged: Raphael PORTILLO - 28 years of Windsor Dakota LINTON - 19 years of Windsor Asa RICKERS - 20 years of Windsor A 16 year old male who cannot be named under the YCJA. - 30 -
