 ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

Windsor Police have a woman in custody after a robbery occurred this morning at the Subway Sandwich store inside the  Home Depot in the 1900 block of Division Rd.  At 7:30 a.m. today, a lone female approached the counter brandishing a "flip style" knife with a 5" blade and demanded the money from the till.  Employees at the counter told the suspect to come around the counter and get it herself.  The suspect complied by going to the till, grabbing a quantity of cash and then running out of the store.  The suspect was last seen running west bound  through the parking lot toward Division Rd.  Nobody was injured during the robbery. The suspect was described as a white female, 5'1", 100 lbs, skinny build, wearing blue jeans and a faded purple sweat shirt. She had a black mask partially covering her face and was also wearing large framed sunglasses.

Officers received information that the suspect may have gotten into a blue four door vehicle after the robbery driven by a man. At 10:00 a.m., an alert uniformed officer in the area of Calderwood Rd at Woodward Rd observed a vehicle matching the above description containing a male driver and a female passenger. Officers stopped this vehicle at Woodward Rd at Division Rd. and arrested both the male and the female without incident.

A 22 year old female is in custody and will be facing a charge of robbery.  A 45 year old man is also in custody and will face charges in relation to another incident.
