| SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT SOUGHT | ||
| The Windsor Police Service is investigating a sexual
assault involving a fourteen year old girl who was grabbed by a suspect
while walking to school early this morning. At 7:45 a.m. on this
date, the victim was walking south on the east sidewalk in the 1600
block of Drouillard Rd. on her way to school when she observed a man
walking north on Drouillard Rd. on the opposite side of the street.
The girl watched as the man crossed Drouillard Rd. and continued to walk
north on the east sidewalk eventually passing her. The girl turned
and watched the man walk north and she continued to walk south on the
side walk. The girl continued to walk south on the sidewalk when she felt someone grab her buttocks from behind. She turned to see the man who had passed her earlier and she punched him in the arm. The victim ran south on Drouillard Rd and the suspect turned and began walking north away from the victim. The suspect did not say anything to the victim nor did she speak to him. The victim last saw the suspect walking north on Drouillard Rd then turn right and walk east on Seminole St. The victim called her mother who attended to pick her up. The suspect is described as a male white, late 20's, 5'5", thin build. He had short, dark greasy hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a black leather jacket and dark pants. He was smoking a cigarette with a white filtered tip. The victim advised that she has never seen the suspect prior to this morning.
