| MAN FACING CHARGES IN STABBING | ||
| Windsor Police have three men in custody after an
altercation outside a west end bar early this morning. At 2:25
a.m. of today's date, uniformed officers responded to a report of a
large group of people fighting outside of Faces Sports Bar in the
900 block of California Ave. Upon arrival, officers observed a
large number of people milling around and two men lying on the grassy
portion of the boulevard next to the street suffering from various
injuries. One of the men complained of being stabbed while the
other advised that he had been kicked in the head. Officers received information that the suspect responsible for the stabbing had gotten into a silver vehicle and was being followed by a witness. Officers were able to locate the vehicle travelling east on Tecumseh Rd. at Crawford Ave. and stopped it at this location. Officers arrested three men inside the vehicle and during a subsequent search, located a bloodstained folding knife on one of the suspects. The two victims were transported to hospital. The stabbing victim received non-life threatening wounds to his chest and buttock and will undergo surgery today to repair those wounds. The second victim was treated and released. Felix Junior LARAME - 23 years of Montreal is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault. At the time of this release the investigation is ongoing and it is expected that further charges may be laid in relation to this incident.
