| SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT SOUGHT | ||
| The Windsor Police Service is seeking the assistance of
the public in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault. At 3:00
p.m. on Wednesday September 22, 2010, the victim, an 18 year old female
was entering the secure front door of her apartment building located in
the 1100 block of McDougall Ave in the City of Windsor. As she
opened the door, she observed a man pushing a bicycle approaching the
front door. The victim asked the man if he lived in the building
to which he replied "yes". The victim held the door for him allowing him
entry into the building. Once through the doors, the victim proceeded to her apartment with the man following her. She entered her apartment and the man followed her inside. Once inside, the suspect asked the victim for a glass of water. The victim went to the sink for some water and the suspect followed her. The suspect pressed his body up against the victim and began touching her buttocks with his hands. The victim immediately turned, pushed the suspect away and told him to get out of her apartment. The suspect fled the apartment building on the bicycle. Upon checking the building surveillance video, an image of the suspect was captured and it was confirmed that the suspect was not a resident of the building. A surveillance photo of the suspect is attached to this media release. The suspect is described as a white male, 19 years, 5'4", stocky build - approximately 170 lbs. He has short brown hair and has two tattoos on his neck - one being a "lizard". He also has a tattoo on his left forearm. He was wearing a green T shirt and light blue jeans. ![]() - 30 - |
