Homeowner Attacked

 

Two men forced their way into a South Windsor home yesterday, and assaulted the home owner with a hammer.  At 10:30 a.m., the victim was sleeping in his residence, located in the 4400 block of Hunt Club Drive.  His teenaged son, answered the front door of their home, and two men, both armed with hammers,  forced their way inside.

The home owner confronted the pair and was struck on the head with a hammer.  The suspects fled the area on foot.  Nothing was taken.  The victim was taken to Hotel Dieu Hospital, where he was treated and released, for non life threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crime, to call 255-6700 ext. 4830, or Crime Stoppers, at 258-TIPS (8477)

Suspect #1 is described:  Male, oriental, 27-30 years old, 5'7", 200 lbs., heavy build, straight, black hair, cut straight just over the ears, wearing dark clothes and armed with a hammer.

Su spect#2 is described: Male, white, 27-30 years old, 5'11", 165 lbs., average build, long, narrow face, short, blonde hair, wearing dark clothes and armed with a hammer.
