Detectives Investigate Pair of Robberies

 

Detectives are investigating  two robberies that occurred yesterday.  At 10:00 a.m., the resident of a home located in the 1700 block of McKay Avenue, was standing on the front porch of his home.  Three men walked over to talk with him.  One of the men is known to the victim.  As the group were entering house, the victim was punched and kicked.  The suspects demanded money and drugs.  They left the home without taking anything.  They were seen entering an older model, brown, vehicle, with Michigan licence plates.  The vehicle was driven away by a forth man.  The victim did not require medical treatment.

Suspect #1: is described: Male, black, dark complexion,  26 years old, 6 ft., thin build, short, dark, hair, wearing a black jacket with hood, black pants, and sunglasses.

Suspect #2: Male, black, light complexion, 27 years old, 6'7"., small moustache with goatee, round face, wearing a tan jacket with hood and sunglasses.

Suspect #3: Male, black, dark complexion, early twenties, 5'7", skinny build, clean shaven, wearing a hooded, blue, shinny, jacket and blue jeans.

All three left in an older model, brown, Oldsmobile car, with Michigan licence plates.

At 11:40 a.m., a man walking on Glengarry Avenue, near Wyandotte Street was approached by two men.  One of the men threatened him with a knife and they robbed him of his wallet, containing a quantity of cash.  Both suspects fled the area and were last seen running towards Brant Street.  The victim was not harmed. 

The descriptions of the suspects are similar to Suspects #1 and #2 of the McKay Avenue incident.
