Cyclists Grabs at Women

 

Detectives are looking for a cyclist who grabs women in a sexual manner, as he passes them on his bicycle.  There have been five such reported incidents since September of this year.  The most recent incident occurred yesterday.  At 8:45 a.m., the victim was walking in the area of Howard Avenue near Irvine, when the suspect drove up behind her on a bicycle.  As he passed, he touched her in a sexual manner.  

The incidents all occurred in the morning and in each case, the suspect touched the victims as he passed them on his bicycle.  None of the victims were injured.

The suspect in yesterdays occurrence has been described as Male, White, late teens to early twenties, average height and build, wearing a black, puffy, jacket, dark toque, blue jeans.  He rides a bicycle that has been described as a Mountain Bike.  The suspect in the other four occurrences bears a similar description.

Detectives of the Special Services Unit are asking anyone with information regarding these occurrences,  to call 255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS (8477)
