A masked suspect made off with a quantity of cash from a Tecumseh Road Convenience Store early this morning.  At 6:15 a.m., the suspect entered the store located in the 2300 block of Tecumseh Road East.  He was armed with a knife and demanded cash.  After receiving a small amount of money, he fled the scene on foot.  He was last seen running north on Factoria Street.  No one was injured.

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Branch are working on this case and asking anyone with information to call 255-6700 ext. 4380 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS.

The suspect is described: Male, 5'9", wearing a green sweat top and faded, black, cargo pants.  His face was covered by a black ski mask.  He was armed with a black handled knife.
