A 20 year old Toronto man is in police custody for Possession of a stolen automobile.  At 6:00 p.m., last night,  an alert citizen spotted a man park an automobile in the Grandview Street area.  The suspect acted suspiciously and left the area in another vehicle.

 Police attended the scene and found a 2000 Chevrolet, Tahoe that had been reported stolen from Halton Region on Tuesday, July 8/ 2003.  The vehicle was damaged as bleach was poured on the seats of the interior.  At 7:00 p.m., police stopped a vehicle in the 4200 block of Pioneer Street.  The suspect was a passenger in the vehicle.  He was arrested without incident.  A 20 year old Toronto man will appear in court today, facing a charge of Possession of Stolen Goods and Mischief.
