Bicycle Bandit |

A bicycle riding bandit, robbed a sixty eight year old woman, yesterday afternoon. The victim purchased some wine, from an LCBO store, located on Wyandotte Street West. At about 2:00 p.m., she was walking to her car, carrying her package, when the suspect drove by on a bicycle and snatched the parcel from her hand. The suspect was last seen riding his bicycle, on Chatham Street. The victim was not injured, but was quite shaken from the experience. Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Branch are working on the case and asking anyone with information to call 255-6700 ext. 4830 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS (8477). The suspect is described: Male, mid teens, slim build, short, dark, hair, wearing dark pants and a nylon jacket. He had a backpack on his back. He was riding a bicycle.
