Two Men Face Charges |

Two men face Conspiracy to Commit Robbery Charges in connection to an early morning stabbing incident yesterday. At 2:30 a.m., a thirty four year old female was stabbed in the abdomen as she walked in the 800 block of Wyandotte Street East. Responding police officers spotted two suspects walking through an alley in the area. Both suspects fled on foot. One suspect was chased down alleys and through neighbouring back yards. Officers heard the sound of breaking glass and discovered a broken basement window to a home in the 800 block of Marentette Avenue. Officers entered the home and found an 18 year old man hiding in the basement. He suffered minor cuts and abrasions about his body. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle. The second suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon at a residence in the 2800 block of Rivard. Both men remain in custody and will appear in court today. The victim remains at Hotel Dieu Hospital and is listed in stable condition. Richard Ternoey 18, of Windsor, is facing charges of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Mischief. Adam Troy Mann 19, of Windsor, is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy To Commit Robbery, and Breach of Probation. He is also charged with Two counts of Robbery in relation to an occurrence on August 28th/2003, where two youths were robbed at knife point in the Fountain Bleu area.
