A stolen handgun was recovered following an investigation into a threats complaint last night. At 9:30 p.m., Detectives spotted the suspect in a vehicle driving in the Forest Glade area. The suspect exited the vehicle and ran from the scene. He was spotted in the 2900 block of Brimley Street and arrested without incident. He was not armed. Windsor Fire and Rescue lighting equipment was brought to the scene to assist in searching for a weapon. A fully loaded .45 caliber handgun was found in a flower bed. The gun was reported stolen from a break and enter to a Leamington business in February of last year. A 33 year old Windsor man is in police custody and will appear in court today, facing charges of Pointing a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Weapon and Possession of Stolen Property.
