School Girl Assaulted

Detectives are looking for a suspect who assaulted a 16 year old girl walking to school this morning.  At 8:00 a.m., the victim was walking on Highland Avenue near Logan  Avenue, when she was attacked from behind.  The suspect knocked her to the ground and grabbed at her in a sexual manner.  He then ran from the area and was last seen running through an alley near Howard Avenue.  The victim was not injured.

Detectives of the Special Investigations Branch are working on this case and asking anyone with information to call 255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS (8477).

The suspect is described: Male, white, late teens to early twenties, 6 ft., 180 lbs., wearing a black, hooded, sweat shirt, with the hood pulled over his head and blue pants.
