Witnesses Sought

Detectives are seeking witnesses to a stabbing incident that took the life of a 19 year old man  early Saturday, morning.  The incident happened at 2:00 a.m., at a drive thru restaurant, located in the 7600 block of Tecumseh Road East.  Glen Ivancic 19, of Essex, was stabbed after an altercation with another man.  He died as a result of his injuries.  Kevin Joseph Stiers 23, of Windsor, was arrested at 10:00 a.m., at a home in the Little River Acres, area.  He has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

Detectives have learned that after the incident, two females rendered assistance to the victim.  They eventually left the area, driving a blue, Jeep Liberty, vehicle.  Detectives would like to speak to the two women, or anyone else who may have information about this incident.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 255-6700 ext. 4830 or Crime Stoppers at 258-TIPS (8477)
