All alarm
users within the City of Windsor must register their
system with the
Windsor Police Service. Both monitored
and non-monitored systems
must be registered.
Contact our alarm
coordinator for annual alarm fees
and annual renewable rates. If
the police respond to
an alarm at an unregistered premise the cost will be higher.

Why is
registration beneficial?
It gives the Windsor
Police Service the correct contact information
allowing us to contact a key
holder in the event of an emergency.
The alarm
registration number you are assigned will be relayed to
your alarm company. By
doing this alarm calls can be dispatched
with increased speed and efficiency.
Police response to
an unregistered premise will be subject to an
administrative fee.
