The Windsor Police Service is proud to host the 2008 Versaterm Users
Conference. The City of Windsor will host some 400 delegates and their
companions from
September 23 - 25, 2008.

Windsor is the southern
most metropolitan city in Canada and the 3rd most diverse city after
Toronto and Vancouver BC. The city lies at the western end of the heavily
populated Quebec City-Windsor Corridor and is the second largest city in
Southwestern Ontario with a population of approximately 217,000.
Windsor is
linked to the United States by the Ambassador Bridge, and the
Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. The Ambassador Bridge is North America's #1
international border crossing in terms of goods volume. 28% of all
trade between Canada and the United States Crosses at the Ambassador
Bridge, which represents about $400 million dollars daily.
The City of
Windsor is alive with attractions including the all-new Caesar's
Windsor.
The city's casino attracting 4.5 million visitors annually has undergone a
$400-million makeover including a new 22-story hotel, and a
5,000-square-foot entertainment centre. Other attractions include a lively
downtown, Little Italy, the Art Gallery of Windsor, the Odette Sculpture
Park, Ojibway Park, and nearby Point Pelee National Park. The
Windsor and neighbouring Essex County has a fast growing wine district as
well.
