The Windsor Police Service, as part of a traffic management strategy, enforces provincial and municipal laws which protect our citizens, visitors, infrastructure and property. Enforcing these laws is primarily conducted through enforcement, the issuing of Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) which can be in either a hand written format or an electronic (e-ticket) format or a Parking Infraction Notice which again can be in either format.

Dealing with a “Provincial Offence Notice” (ticket):
You have 15 days to choose and act on one of three options.  The options and instructions are listed on the back side of the “offence notice” in both French and English.  In addition to the offence notice, you are given a “Payment Notice” form to assist you with paying the fine should that be your choice.

Dealing with a “Parking Infraction Notice” (parking ticket):
You have 20 days to choose and act on one of three options. The options and instructions are listed on the back side of the” infraction notice”.
