Fee for Expedited Service

 Due to the number of overwhelming requests to expedite required services, the Windsor Police Services Board has approved a new Cost Recovery Fee Schedule, effective January 1, 2014. 

 An expedited fee of $50.00 will be added to the cost of the service requested.  This fee is in addition to the cost of the application.  The service will be expedited at the request of the applicant, at the time the application is submitted.

           Expedited Service will be available for record checks (employment, general, student placements, including Vulnerable Sector purposes).  Certain restrictions will apply if you have lived outside of the jurisdiction of Windsor Police Service during the past five years, or if you have a lengthy criminal record.

If you have a request of an urgent nature and wish to pay the expedited fee, your record check application will be placed ahead of others, which will be processed in the order in which they were received.
 
The turn-around time for expedited service will be dependent upon the volume of other urgent applications received.  The expedited service fee will guarantee that your application is processed prior to those received, which are not of an urgent nature.  You will be contacted immediately upon completion of your record check.

 Expedited service will NOT be available for Record Suspension applications, Destruction of Fingerprint and Photograph Records or Insurance Confirmation Requests.
